Nandini Narayan, Gang Gang Cockatoos (ANIMALS 2026)

A Gang Gang cockatoo couple feeding in the bush on the South Coast of NSW. Endemic to South Eastern Australia they are classified as endangered in NSW particularly since the Black Summer 2019/2020 bushfires. Protection of their habitat has become critical to conservation of this iconic species.
