Meaghan Paul, Forge (ART 2023)

The artist works at his forge and I document his art. The late afternoon sun slants sideways across the old timber salvaged from an old chapel that perished in a fire, and illuminates and accentuates the curves of the artwork better than I ever could. The fox terrier casts his shadow across the frame and the curl of his tail creates a charming interplay with the shadow of the wrought iron.
