Kevin Prince, FIRST LIGHT NZ (LANDSCAPE 2026)

The New Zealand dawn's first light can be breath-taking - even ethereal. These images are all captured as the first light of a new day spreads above the horizon almost creating a drawing in of breath, a gasp, at the shear beauty unfolding before you - and it is my hope that these images communicate and create this feeling in those that view them. SILENT PEACE - taken @ 8.11am 25/08/25 in breathless conditions during a 5 degree frost. Tripod focus stacked image. CAPTURED - taken @ 6.20am 25/11/25 at low tide in perfectly calm conditions. Tripod single image. BELIEVE - taken @ 5.56am 26/11/25 in a blisteringly strong southerly roaring off the southern ocean. Hand-held single image.
