While luck played its part, patience was the key to capturing these photos. These unexpected moments unfolded as I observed this massive Osprey closely, allowing me to document her incredible expressions. The highlight was the exact moment I had hoped for: her blink. What followed was even more unexpected—she closed her lower eyelid to shield herself against the wind, and she also squinted in a way that resembled a real-life Disney villain. It was a rare and incredibly rewarding sight.
