Linlin Zhao, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg (SINGLE SHOT 2026)

Elbphilharmonie Hamburg is Hamburg's icon and landmark. This unique concert hall is the best-known example of bridging of tradition and modernity: a striking glass structure which has been seamlessly integrated into the old red brick warehouse, creating a stunning architectural marvel. Instead of capturing the whole building, I focused my image on the iconic wave-like glass structure perched atop the old warehouse. By using the in-camera multiple exposure settings on my Nikon Z7 camera, I create an image to emphasis the ethereal beauty of this architectural marvel. The addition of the seagull not only balances the whole image, but also echos with the wave-like structure. An overcast sky was a bonus.
