Byron Tan, Echoes in the Mist (ART 2026)
This black-and-white series captures quiet moments where mist and water meet — places where time seems to pause. Each image invites the viewer to drift into stillness: a boat floats alone, a paddler disappears into fog, a village fades into memory. Inspired by ink painting and soft monochrome tones, the photos explore solitude not as loneliness, but as reflection. The mist becomes a kind of language — gentle, elusive, full of feeling. These scenes aren’t meant to be explained, just felt. They’re echoes in the mist.
