Ben Burton, Djinda (ANIMALS 2026)

Staring into the eye of the Western Rock Octopus (Octopus Djinda) is like staring into the window of another world. I spent a notable amount of time over several days, watching their behaviours while they did the same to me. With patience I was able to use our mutual curiosity to capture these moments on a single breathe with only ambient lighting.
