Chelle Wallace, Day Dreamer (Portrait 2020)

This is my daughter Poppy. She has gratefully been a constant theme at every new stage in my photography journey. At 14 she drives a hard bargain. Yet for all our business like negotiations we both get lost in our imagination. She untethers from her device and becomes a child again, dressing up and flitting about, with no real awareness that I'm even there. We have an alchemy, few words are said. I think they will be some of our best memories.
