Gandhar Radhika, Colourpuff (PEOPLE 2025)
Bella Cameron, also known as “Colour Puff Girl,” discovered her passion for crochet in 2021—and she hasn’t looked back since. Within just six months of picking up a crochet hook, she was creating bold, one-of-a-kind garments and accessories, from thigh-high boots adorned with 850 individually sewn puff flowers to stunning couture pieces fit for the runway. By 2023, Bella’s innovative designs earned her a finalist spot in the Australian Wearable Arts Fashion Festival, where she went on to win the Supreme Award—an achievement she repeated in 2024. Her high-fashion crochet has caught the attention of *Frankie Magazine*, as well as national television and radio. I had the opportunity to capture Bella’s creations in a photoshoot featuring model Jose Burke, bringing her vibrant, textural designs to life through my lens. Through her work, Bella is on a mission to challenge perceptions of crochet, proving that it is both limitless and magical. It’s time to redefine what crochet can be!
