Marwan El Hassan, Coastal seascapes (Landscape)

This is a set of photos I took in two different locations and times: Merimbula, in Autumn, and Jervis Bay, in Summer. To me they share the same mood of vastness, raw beauty and wonder. The sea has been inspiring humans since the dawn of humanity, and it does no less than magical inspiration to me. All these shots were taken early in the morning, around sunset. This is the time where light is perfect and colours are nice and saturated. The photos, to me, are worth the effort. Long exposure was used with most of these photos to give them the dreamy milky look and mood. As with all subjects, taking these photos required a lot of thinking, especially about composition and mood. I always have the final product that I want in my mind as soon as I look through the viewfinder and start to search for the ideal composition.
