Natalie Arber, Car Portraits (PEOPLE 2025)

These portraits were captured as we transition from A to B telling the story of how the car is central to daily life for my family. It can be a calm place with moments of solitude for me where I have time to think as well as a stressful environment where it is a race against time when running late. It is also a place of connection where we talk about our life and share what happened in our day as well as a place of conflict with disputes over what music to play or who gets the front seat.
