Ann Parrott, breathing dreams (OPEN 2022)

Influenced greatly by the dreamlike works of artist William Turner, known as ‘the painter of light’, I have been mesmerised by capturing the equally atmospheric emotion of 'a moment'. The velvet smooth fluidity of shapes and lines create an interesting altered perception and perspective, a complete sense of harmony created by the visual movement. This body of work has a dream-like quality that leaves you speculating on the detail, a creative and expressive capture of both light and shadow.
