Steven Genesin, Boobook encounters (ANIMALS 2026)

When a pair of southern Boobook owls take up temporary residence in a local tree in the suburbs of Adelaide it becomes a game of patience to catch them at their photographic best, either together or alone. These shots show some of those poses ie having a nap together, a curious look at the photographer and finally pulling a face for the camera!
