Australian native bees are some of the most attractive in the world, especially the Blue-banded Bee and the Neon Cuckoo Bee which have a difficult relationship due to the habit of latter invading the nest of the Blue-banded Bee. Sometimes what looks like a bee is, in fact, a fly, as in the case of the Bee fly.
