Saxon Poser, Bee Business (ANIMALS 2026)

I recently observed members of this native bee species loaded with pollen on a newly planted sweet alyssum. Barely a centimeter in size and easy to miss, these bees can go unnoticed in the average suburban garden. It is important not only to be aware of native bees but also provide plants for them that European Honey Bees cannot feed on, reducing competition for resources.
