Christine Sweeney, BEACH to BUSH (LANDSCAPE 2026)

Three landscapes with objects so embedded in the Australian vernacular they're almost invisible - the Hills hoist, iron roof, water tank, lacework and trough. Photographed in isolation each image asks the viewer to look again at what familiarity has made them stop seeing. The images accumulate into something larger - everyday shapes belonging, how the objects we inherit quietly define us. At the beach, in the bush or the city.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
