Australia is home to an incredible diversity of native bees, with over 1,700 species spread across the country. However, our native bees often go unnoticed compared to the generally larger and more populous European bees. Here I show three Australian native bees on different native plants, celebrating our bee species and their importance in maintaining the health and biodiversity of Australia's ecosystems.
