Richard Perin, All roads lead to Rome (DOCO 2026)

Street photography taken from a recent holiday to Rome. Walking those streets felt like a dance between history and the everyday. The city's workmen sitting next to an ancient stature eating lunch and watching a tourist pass by on a bike, a nun pausing to take a call on a mobile phone, young lovers at the beach watching a unicorn inflatable etc. Each photograph captures the tension between permanence and transience—the grandeur of centuries-old architecture set against the immediacy of human movement. Rome itself seemed to breathe through its people, offering a living testament to resilience, ritual, and beauty in the mundane.
