While zoos continue to embark on necessary conservation work, many are in dire need of rethinking and updating to ensure humane, ethical and sustainable captive animal husbandry. This work aims to open dialogue in our approaches to zoo keeping, with aims to inspire people both at the institutions themselves and in the wider community and governments to achieve better for captive animals.
