Alicia Vaccaro, A misty day at Barron Falls (LANDSCAPE 2026)

On the way up to Kuranda Village in Cairns, the train stops for 10 mins at the beautiful Barron Falls. It was a misty day travelling through the mountains and this picturesque spot was the highlight of the journey. The overall scene and the contrast of the brown mountains and the bright green landscape was gorgeous. But zooming in highlights the textures of a central rock and one of the individual waterfalls that contribute to the magnificence of the scene. The mist of the clouds and the spray from the waterfall adds a sense of drama to the scene.
