Pelican Products, the company widely known for its 'industry standard' durable protective cases used by professionals for over 50 years, has announced the launch of its new Pelican TRVL Collection in Australia. The release marks a significant expansion for the brand, targeting the broader consumer travel market with three new product lines.
Building on its previous popular Air TRVL series (launched in 2016), the new collection applies the company's focus on durability to a range of luggage and accessories designed for modern travellers. The collection is comprised of three distinct series: the Pelican ATX hard-shell luggage, the Pelican Aegis hybrid duffels and packs, and the Pelican Modpak organisational accessories.

The Pelican ATX (Adventure Travel X-Over) series consists of hard-shell luggage constructed with the company's 'Pelican Armour' material. Aimed at travellers requiring a high degree of protection for their belongings, the cases include TSA-approved locking latches and 360-degree Hinomoto spinner wheels for manoeuvrability. There are two sizes currently available – Check-in (25") and Carry-on (22").
Many airlines' carry-on policies allow for both a wheeled bag and a personal item like a backpack. For photographers, this is ideal: a 22" carry-on case can hold overnight clothes and toiletries alongside a full suite of lenses, while a backpack can keep your primary camera, laptop, and other electronics secure and accessible.
For travellers seeking a combination of hard-case durability and soft-case flexibility, the Pelican Aegis collection offers a hybrid solution. The range includes duffels and travel packs made from the company’s 'Pelican Shield' material and weather-resistant 500D Cordura fabric, suitable for both outdoor and urban environments. Products include two sizes of wheeled check-in 'duffel' bags, a wheeled carry-on duffel bag, two backpacks and four sling bags. The backpacks will probably be a hit for landscape photographers due to its rugged, weather-resistant buiild.

Rounding out the collection is the Pelican Modpak series, a line of travel accessories focused on organisation. These items are designed to integrate with the ATX and Aegis luggage, featuring weather-resistant materials and ergonomic designs to keep essential items accessible and protected.
The launch positions Pelican to compete more directly in the mainstream travel gear market by leveraging its established reputation for protective equipment.
The new Pelican TRVL Collection is now available for order through authorised retailers across Australia.
