Panasonic ends Lumix Pro Services in UK Europe and Australia

Panasonic will discontinue its Lumix Pro Services program in eight European countries and the United Kingdom at the end of this month, following the closure of the program in Australia earlier this year.

Launched in 2022, Lumix Pro Services provided priority support, extended warranties and faster access to repairs and loan equipment for professional photographers and videographers.

A Panasonic Australia spokesperson told Australian Photography that the company has been refining its customer-facing services over several years in response to user needs.

According to the spokesperson, Panasonic Australia has shifted its model to offer standard two-year warranties with up to five years total coverage, shorter average repair times, improved access to trial equipment through community events, more learning opportunities with Lumix experts, and more targeted post-purchase communications.

As a result, the company said there is no longer a need for a dedicated Lumix Pro Services program in Australia. The program ended in early 2025.
