Russian photojournalist, Valery Melnikov is a staff photographer with the Sputnik agency. Recently, he’s covered the Ukrainian conflict of 2014, the 2013 uprising in Mali, and in 2012 covered the civil war in Syria, amongst other hotspots around the world.
