Tamron Sony E-Mount 28-75mm
Tamron’s Sony E-Mount 28-75mm lens is lightweight, compact, and features an all-new RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor AF unit that is perfect for video capture. The new optical system has been designed specifically for mirrorless cameras. Ideal for capturing portraits with defocused backgrounds, closest focus at wide angle is just 0.19m. The fast, constant f/2.8 aperture makes it a great choice for low-light shooting.
The lens construction includes 15 elements in 12 groups, along with a special XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) element, LD (Low Dispersion) element, GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) element, and two hybrid aspherical lens elements. It also employs Tamron’s broad-band anti-reflection coating, and the front surface of the lens element is coated with a protective fluorine compound that has excellent water- and oil-repellent qualities.
