The D-Link DCS-5222L HD Wireless N Pan & Tilt Network Camera gives a certain level of comfort and security that you’re probably not used to. Simple to set up, once online, the camera provides 24x7 security surveillance of your studio, and can be daisy-chained with multiple cameras.
Rather than have to glue yourself to your computer, tablet or smartphone to watch hours of endless nothing, the camera has built-in motion detection so that once movement has been registered, not only will the camera start recording, but you’ll receive an e-mail notification of the event so that you can either review the recorded footage or watch the live feed.
The D-Link DCS-5222L HD Wireless N Pan & Tilt Network Camera can be fully controlled remotely so that you can point the camera in a variety of directions, as well as benefit from the 4x digital zoom. As well as this, the built-in IR illuminator for low-light surveillance means that it can effective ‘see’ in pitch darkness. The DCS-5222L can also be connected to your network wirelessly, allowing you to place the camera anywhere, and eliminating the need to install network cabling.
The built-in microSD slot allows the camera to run independently, or can be used to continuously record video even if the network connection is lost. With the included D-ViewCam software, up to 32 cameras can be supported. Cameras can be set to automatically move to specific preset positions, allowing the camera to patrol and secure a wide area.
