Ngaire Hart, Hip, hip, hooray (Animal 2020)

Hippopotamus skin is sensitive yet gets attacked by thorns, birds pick at sores and make them bleed and they have a love of fighting each other. They poo in the water yet spend all day in it. Strange creatures yet beautiful.
