Geoffrey Goddard, Archi-treasures (Architecture (2018))

These images form part of an ongoing series (obsession) with photographing buildings of architectural significance, some of them are well known others less so. A project that sees me spend a great deal of my holidays on what I like to call ‘Architectural Treasure Hunts’. Spending weeks at a time on the road I meticulously map out each building by city, town, suburb & street. My aim is to capture each one in a way that I think best highlights it’s individual characteristic, wether that be the angle, the time of day, whatever it is that makes it an ‘Architectural Treasure’.
