Amy Mercer, A Whale's Playground (Travel (2018))

Marine Conservation is critical more than ever. Due to over-pollution, overfishing and global warming, I aim to advocate the beauty of natural environments and marine life in order to promote awareness and urge people to take action to preserve these ecosystems for future generations. In Vava’u, it is a thriving place for Humpback Whales who travel to the warmer waters of the Kingdom of Tonga to breed and give birth, making this area a safe-haven for these majestic creatures.
