The latest addition to the Sonos smart sound system is the new Beam which connects wirelessly, and seamlessly, to your network, and other Sonos speakers you might already be relying on. The Beam is particularly versatile and is an ideal addition to either grow your sound space or be paired with a UHD TV to help make a viewing session for your wedding and portrait client even richer and more immersive.

With sound quality that Sonos is renowned for, the Beam delivers incredible sound for virtually any streaming content in your studio, office, or home. The Sonos Beam supports around 60 music services, multiple voice assistants including Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay 2, and will support additional voice assistants as they become available so that you’re not locked into specific streaming boxes or services.

Part of the Sonos system, by adding two Sonos Ones, getting surround sound is a breeze, while adding a SUB gives you loads more bass. The Beam can be controlled with voice, the Sonos app, third-party apps like Spotify, Audible, and Tidal, TV remotes, as well as smart home gadgets like wall switches and remotes made by Sonos-certified partners.

For those keen to know “what’s under the hood”, the Beam has four custom-built elliptical, full-range woofers, and three passive radiators for deep, warm bass and superior mid-range performance, while a single tweeter ensures crisp and clear dialogue. As well as this, five linear far-field microphone arrays are used for advanced noise suppression and multi-channel echo cancellation for both music and home theatrecontent. The Beam has three ports – power, Ethernet, andHDMI-ARC – and is available in black or white.
