Fujifilm’s newest lens, the FUJINON GF 50mm f/3.5 R LM WR is the smallest and lightest GF lens in the range, and takes the total number of lenses in the GF line-up to 10. Weighing just 335g, the lens will be available from late September. The lens is designed for the Fujifilm’s GFX100, GFX 50S, and GFX 50R mirrorless digital cameras, and when coupled with the 50R provides a kit weighing just 1,110g making it an ideal choice for street and travel photography.

Consisting of 9 elements in 6 groups, the lens includes one aspherical lens element to help minimise spherical aberration and distortion. Production technologies utilised for the GF 50mm see the lens surfaces polished with sub-micron level precision. Relying on additional seals, the lens is dust and weather resistant and capable of operating in temperatures down to -10°C. The minimum focus distance is 55cm.
