Balance for Better by Agender

Earlier this year, the Australian alliance, Agender - a platform for change for female photographers, held their second annual photographic exhibition to coincide with International Women’s Day. Building on the success of the first show in 2018, this year the exhibition, Balance for Better, was twice as big as 2018 and featured 22 highly talented female photographers.

“Agender is a celebration of the great talent, wisdom and experience of female photographers. At the same time, our aim is to create new pathways for women at the start of their careers, and central to that is addressing the inequality in pay, diversity and opportunities given to women in the industry,” says Agender co-founder, Cybele Malinowski.
